Small groups of dogs participate in “Follow the Leader” activities and basic obedience, working on sit, place, and down commands.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Quiet Time
A restful hour to recharge and relax.
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Rotating enrichment activities
Rotating enrichment activities to stimulate and entertain (rotated frequently): Puzzle toy challenges, scent games, bubbles, ball pits, etc.
1:45 PM – 3:00 PM | Relaxation Time
A calming session with soothing music and dimmed lighting for stress relief and relaxation.
3:00 PM – 4:45/5:00 PM | Group Play

Are vaccines required?
We require the following vaccinations for all services (Make sure shots have been issued 1 week before the visit to ensure proper protection for your pet): Dogs: Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, Rabies, Leptospirosis (Required in St. George. Highly recommended in Sandy and South Jordan), and K9 Influenza (Highly recommended). Cats: Rabies, FeLV and FVRCP.

Does my dog have to be spayed/neutered?
All dogs over the age of 7 months must be spayed or neutered to be eligible for daycare services at all Dogtown locations. All dogs over the age of 7 months must be spayed or neutered to be eligible for boarding services at our Sandy and St. George locations. If you are interested in boarding services for a pet that is not spayed or neutered and is above this age threshold, please contact our South Jordan location.
Are reservations required?
Reservations are highly recommended for all services (Grooming, Training, Boarding, and Daycare). In the interest of upholding Dogtown’s mission, “To provide a safe and loving environment for your pets and our staff,” we cannot exceed our maximum capacity levels. Holidays tend to book up well in advance so we recommend reserving any services well in advance.
How are boarding rates calculated?
Boarding rates are calculated in 24 hour periods, beginning at drop off. If pick up occurs after this 24-hour window on your pet’s departure day, a $20 discounted daycare fee will be added to the final invoice.
Are deposits required?
Deposits are required for all grooming and boarding reservations. Grooming deposits are 50% of the total service price and boarding deposits are 25% of the total service price. Deposits are deducted from the total price paid at checkout at the conclusion of your pet’s reservation. In the event you must cancel your pet’s reservation, please keep in mind that reservations canceled at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled start time will result in the attached deposit being converted to store credit valid for the next 12 months. Reservations canceled within the 72-hour window prior to the scheduled start time will result in the forfeiture of the attached deposit.
Is a temperament test required?
Yes. All dogs are required to pass our two-hour temperament test prior to participating in boarding and daycare services. Temperament Tests are free of charge. Please fill out the temperament request form on the website or call to get scheduled.
